Women’s Services

At Las Colinas Medical Center we have an entire floor dedicated to Women's Services. Our highly trained staff and board-certified physicians will work to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. All of our labor, delivery and recovery rooms are private in addition to our 22 private post partum rooms. We also have an 18 bed newborn/intermediate care nursery as well as a level 2b Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) that enables us to care for babies that need a little extra help.  

What to Bring to the Hospital.

VIP Postpartum Suite

We have recently expanded our Women’s Services department at Las Colinas Medical Center to include additional patient rooms and a VIP suite for postpartum mothers. The 700 square foot suite includes a private room for the mother with a private bathroom, and a living area, which includes a kitchenette for the father and other family members.

The suite is offered on a first-delivered, first-served basis at the rate of $300 per night payable by cash, check or credit card. For more information regarding our VIP Suite for post-partum mothers, be sure to ask your nurse upon admittance into the hospital.

Childbirth and Family Education Classes

Las Colinas Medical Center offers a variety of family education classes to help expectant parents prepare for an exceptional birth. Studies show that parents who participate in the decisions surrounding the birth of their baby are more satisfied with the birth experience, and begin their new life more confidently. Our childbirth classes will give parents-to-be the opportunity to learn about the process of birth, the resources available to manage the challenges of labor and a fun and interactive way to prepare for the birth of their baby.

 Women’s Imaging

Las Colinas Medical Center is proud to offer a Women's Imaging Center right on our campus. This beautifully decorated center is geared towards making your imaging needs comfortable and relaxing. We offer some of the most advanced technology in digital mammography, 3D/4D ultrasound and bone densitometry.
